NEW ACT! 901 Update & Hotfix

Sage in-line release of ACT! 9.0.1 Update is now ready and can be downloaded from our web site. To view a list of the improvements and resolved issues included in the ACT! 2007 (9.0.1) update please read What Changes Were Made in ACT! by Sage 2007 (9.0.1)

ACT! is now supported on Microsoft® Windows® Media Center and ACT! 2007 (9.0.a with Vista™ Hot Fix and 9.0.1) is supported on Windows Vista operating systems.

Note: Whilst ACT! 2007 works on Vista, there are still some limitations with this operating system. ACT! by Sage 2007 Premium for Workgroups is currently unsupported on Windows Vista operating systems. For information on compatibility with Windows Vista operating systems, please visit www.act.com/vista2007 or refer to the following Knowledge Base Answer: ACT! by Sage Compatibility with Microsoft® Windows Vista™, Office 2007 and Internet Explorer® v7.0

At this stage, ACT! will not fully support Microsoft Vista until Version 10 is released later this year.

Important: If you are a user that shares a database, the computer hosting this database must be updated first, the shared database updated next, and then all users must update their installation of ACT! before attempting to access the shared database. The first user that updates and then attempts to login to the shared database, will be required to update the database. It is strongly recommended that this be done from the computer hosting the database.
If you host a Publisher database (sync environment); once you have updated the database, only Remote users that are updated to the same version of ACT! will successfully synchronise. If you are a user with a Remote copy of the database that synchronises to a Publisher database, you must ensure that the Publisher database is updated to the same version of ACT! that you are using, otherwise you will not be able to synchronise.
