The Advanced Query function and sync between ACT! and Outlook has been improved. Auto database maintenance is also included (with Premium versions).

ACT! 2006/8

ACT! 2006/Version 8 was an enhancement of ACT! 7. Improved features were overall performance, ability to view all groups membership for a contact, Group/Company tree view, selective administration rights, phone numbers automatically print on calendars and integration with Lotus Notes.

ACT! 2005/7

ACT! Version 7 was a rebuild of ACT! using the new Microsoft .NET. As well as a new look and feel, ACT! 7 bought along features such as Company Records, powerful lookups, new field types, unlimited secondary contact records, easily eliminate duplicate records, enchanced groups/sub-groups, customisable activity types, mulit user activity series, opportunity list view, custom quotes, one click export to Excel, new reports and enhanced synchronisation.

ACT! 6
ACT! 6 has been on the market since 2001. Due to its popularity and the low system requirements (as compared with later versions of ACT!).

As of December 2007, Sage Software discontinued the supply of ACT! 6 licenses so it is no longer available for purchase. Act Today will continue supporting existing ACT! 6 clients.

ACT! 2000/5
ACT! 5 was released in 1999. It was then know as ACT! 2000 and was the first version to be released since Interact Commerce Corporation (previous name for SageACT) regained possession from Symantec.
