Please take into consideration your specific requirements may be affected by number of users, number of contact records in your database and the specifications are a guide only. It is our belief that you should allow for specifications higher than the minimum specifications to maximise performance.

ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Solutions Minimum System Requirements
Important Note:
In a shared environment, ACT! 2008 is designed to work with up to 9 users. If you intend to use workgroup functionality or share a database with 10 or more users, you must purchase ACT! Premium 2008 or ACT! Premium for Web 2008. You must purchase one license of ACT! per user. All minimum system requirements are based on a single user environment. Customer registration and activation are required in order to use this software. Your system must meet the minimum system requirements. Technical support is not available for users who do not meet the minimum system requirements. Additionally, Sage Software no longer supports Windows® 2000 or Office 2000. WiredContact
WiredContact is an advanced web solution for ACT!® so you can easily update and share your contacts online. With just a browser, you can access contact details in real-time from any computer — at your office, at home, at an Internet kiosk or on the road via wireless modems and PocketPC devices.
WiredContact is typically installed on your company's web server. A web server is a computer with Internet Information Services (IIS) installed on it. (IIS is a free component that is shipped with the operating system).
Your ACT!® database is maintained on your web server or on the network so all users can share the same database. You can create unlimited WiredContact sites on your web server so users can access multiple databases — with just one license!

Web Server Requirements

The speed of the processor on your web server is a key factor in determining the performance of WiredContact. The specifications of your web server depend upon the size of your ACT! database, number of users and Internet connection speed.

We recommend up to 75 ACT! users per web server. You may use multiple web servers running WiredContact to access a single ACT! database. See the recommended WiredContact product based on server speed and user internet connectivity environment.
