| During this period of his career, James managed numerous projects such as the integration of a Retail Travel System linking client data and travel reservation information. James was also the Project Manager for the successful development of a reporting system for Qantas Retail’s largest corporate account. In his final position with Qantas, James was responsible for the automation requirements of the Airport Operations division which involved management of over 70 employees.
In 2002, James discovered ACT! when running Training Seminars. He realised that he had found a brilliant solution for anyone managing business relationships and decided to pursue a career in business consulting.
James' strong interpersonal skills, his ability to analyse business requirements whilst understanding the technical issues of any project were contributing factors in James being awarded Act Today’s Customer Service Award in 2008.
In addition, James’ ability to train end-users is a particular focus of all his implementations as he believes that the right training ensures that all users of a database solution are confident in its use, increasing the probability of a strong return on investment.
James is married with three children. His hobbies include golf, sailing and kayaking around Sydney waterways and further afield when possible.
