Due to the low costs associated with e-mail marketing, the tendency is to think you can hit people very often, but you need to be careful in this area. Your decision will depend on your target audience and their buying cycle. Make sure you keep your name in front of your prospects and customers frequently enough to keep your business on their minds. A follow-up e-mail to the same list in 30 days typically gets 40-50% of the response of the first mailing. Even the most anticipated, thought-provoking, valuable communication could be unwelcome when overdone.
