	Sending an SMS is easy Lookup your contact/s and click on the "Send SMS" icon on your toolbar Either open an existing message template or simply type in your message Select "Current Contact" or "Current Lookup" (for SMS Merge)
	Character Count There is a 160 character limit to each text message. As you type, the counter records the characters to you know when you have reached your limit.
	SMS Templates You can create your own templates so you can send standardised messages.
	SMS Mail Merge You can merge any fields from your ACT! database into your templates so you can send personalised messages to multiple contacts. You can also merge fields from your "My Record" so you can share templates with your ACT! team.

Start Using SMS4ACT!

The SMS4ACT! software is free however you need an account with MessageMedia to send your text messages.

Trial SMS4ACT!
If you would like to trial SMS4ACT! prior to setting up a MessageMedia Account, simply complete the SMS4ACT! Software Request Form to receive your free SMS4ACT! software. Make sure you select the 30 Day Trial and we will include a trial MessageMedia Account (30 days with 10 SMS limit). Any questions about the trial, please email sales@acttoday.com.au.

Full Version SMS4ACT!
To get a full version of SMS4ACT!, follow the steps below:

1. Set up an SMS account with MessageMedia.

2. Once you have your MessageMedia Username, complete the SMS4ACT! Software Request Form to receive your free SMS4ACT! Software. Select the Full Version and enter your MessageMedia Username.

3. Your MessageMedia Username will be activated by Act Today and then we will send you an email containing the software and installation instructions.

**If you have already trialled SMS4ACT! and would like to upgrade to the full version, simply follow the steps above. Once we activate your MessageMedia Username, you can then update the SMS4ACT! preferences through ACT!. You do not need to install the software again.
