Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Act Today have made some adjustments to the way we work in order to keep our employees safe, ensure the continuity of our services, and play our part in ending this global threat.

As of 17th March, all of our staff including all support agents have been working from home. They have seamlessly transitioned into this new ‘normal’ to ensure that we can continue to bring you the services that you need to keep your business running. We are currently delivering all of our services including licencing, implementations, training and support, although service availability may vary from time to time if we experience staffing issues through unforeseen circumstances. In addition, the worldwide increase in home working means mobile network carriers globally are reaching capacity at times. This is occasionally leading to intermittent failed or undelivered calls. We apologize for any inconvenience – please know that we are working hard to deliver as high quality a service as possible during this situation. Be assured that we are dedicated to supporting our customers and providing the best service that we can during this challenging time. 

We will retain these arrangements until the threat of the virus has passed, or has reduced substantially. We will continue to update this post, as the situation evolves. 

Are your staff working from home?

With the current isolation constraints our customers have been contacting us to discuss how we can help their business stay in touch while working from home. There are several options available depending on whether you need a total cloud solution or want a local version. If you have a current Act! database that you want to move to the cloud, or you don't have Act! at all and need to get set up, our CRM specialists are available immediately to help you get set up. Here are some suggestions to help you get the most out of Act! when you or your team need to work remotely. 

  • As an active subscriber using Act! on your desktop or laptop, there is a feature available that enables you to sync with a remote Act! database - which could be shared with all Act! users - either over the internet or a network (including VPN).   • Another option for active subscribers is to use an app such as the Act! Companion mobile app or Handheld Contact, enabling you to stay connected to key Act! details from your iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Act!
