Richard Milland commenced working with Act Today is 2002, but his CRM experience spans over 30 years.

Using the very first version of Act! in his Dandenong based training company, Richard soon realised the value of Contact Management. His expertise run deep making him one of the most experienced CRM consultants in Australia.

Richard ran his own successful Act! consulting firm where he honed his end-to-end technical skills in implementing CRM solutions based on SAP, Seibel, ACCPAC, Maximize and Tracker. He now works with Act!, Crystal Reports, Dashboards, Topline Designer and Durkin to develop custom data tables and layouts.

Richard prides himself on gaining maximum return on investment for the client - as soon as possible. This was one of the reasons he joined the Act Today team, where he could offer even greater service and support to his clients including training workshops, support plans and further scope to grow the business with Act! It is also one of the reasons he has won the Act Today Business Development award for 3 years running. 

Richard covers Melbourne and South East Victoria region for Act Today.

James Eldridge is an Act! Certified Consultant and has been working with Act Today since 2010.

James started his journey with CRM on the client-side. Whilst working within a communications company in the UK, his team realised the need for CRM. James was tasked with researching and trialing various CRMs. After selecting Act! as the CRM, he was able to see firsthand how incredibly powerful this system was for business growth.

Not only did the company reap great success with the help of Act!, James's passion for CRM and Act! in particular, was also ignited.  The company’s consultancy firm invited James to work for them and he became a Certified Act! Consultant. In 2010, James moved to Australia and joined Act Today.

James’ journey from customer to consultant has helped him understand the customer’s needs and concerns when implementing, training, and designing databases. He has empathy for clients that are new to Act! and CRM, which can only be achieved by experiencing what it is like to be on the other side of the fence.

James has transitioned from client to consultant seamlessly is now focusing on supporting his Brisbane team ensuring all of his customers are 100% satisfied.

Mark Nicholas is an Act! Certified Consultant for the NSW/ACT region since 2003, and more recently, our Service Delivery Manager for Australia, helping customers identify (based on their unique situation) the next change to make to get the most value from their CRM, including the use of previously unused features, addons, automation, integration, reporting, design & training.

Mark has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, in particular with analytics. This led to his deep knowledge and understanding of CRM roles, and how they can benefit small business.

Mark also spent 5 years with Balanced IT/AlphaWest as a GoldMine/HEAT consultant gaining experience in selling and implementing CRM and Help Desk solutions. Mark’s experience gives him a strong insight into customer relationships that enhances his ability to implement Act! effectively for customers including:

  • Helping clients to design a system that will achieve their goals
  • Achieve reporting objectives to isolate the information recorded in Act!
  • Design KPI Systems that will help to track the effectiveness of the system and users.
  • Facilitating effective CRM training courses either onsite or online

Peter has been an Act! Certified Consultant with Act Today since 1998.

After graduating with a Bachelor in Business from Western Sydney University, Peter’s career experience began in the research and analytics roles within the commercial property and real estate industries.  Many of his roles involved data analytics which is how Peter was first introduced to Act! CRM. As a client of Act Today, Peter was heavily involved in the implementation and roll out of CRM into the forecasting and analytics company and soon became the champion of the system, fast learning it’s power and the benefit of it within the organisation.

Peter’s skills became so advanced that he took up the opportunity to become a CRM consultant with Act Today and started implementation projects immediately. He soon realised that his inside business experience and data analytics expertise is a key attribute to him as a consultant when helping other businesses realise the benefits of using Act! CRM.

Peter has now implemented Act! CRM in over 500 organisations across an array of industries. He uses his ability to solve complex business problems and his advanced IT skills to offer a full array of CRM services.

Peter covers the Sydney region for Act Today.
